The project consortium is coordinated by the CNR (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche) and comprises multiple European research and industrial organisations.

We collect the following categories of personal data when you interact with this website:

• Contact form data: name, business email address, company, job function, country/region, subject and message content, as voluntarily provided by the user.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, date and time of access — collected automatically through server logs.
• Consent records: timestamp and IP address at the time of privacy policy acceptance.
• Cookies: only technically necessary cookies required for the proper functioning of the website (see Section 5).

• Contact form submissions: retained for a maximum of 24 months from the date of submission, after which they are automatically deleted.
• Server logs: retained for 12 months.
• Consent records: retained for the duration of data retention plus an additional 12 months for accountability purposes.

Data may be retained longer if required by applicable law or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Personal data may be accessed by:

• Authorised personnel of the LACE project coordination office.
• Hosting and IT service providers acting as data processors under appropriate contractual safeguards.

Personal data is not transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Should any transfer become necessary, it will be carried out in compliance with Chapter V of the GDPR (adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or other appropriate safeguards).
